Intercontinental Hotel in Johannesburg on Sunday 6 July 2008. These
prestigious awards acknowledge and honour the magnificent world-class spas
in South Africa and set the benchmark for spas in this country.
This is a magnificent achievement for us and an endorsement not only of the

We have purchased a set of bows and
arrows for children and adults which can be used when you are on the estate.
HIGHLAND
GATE GOLF & TROUT
The
first 8 holes is ready to play! They will be starting the clubhouse in the next
few weeks!
This will be brilliant for the estate as now we can dine across the road and
skip the 35km in and out of town trips!

A
new Spa called VYGENHOEK ORGANIC SPA has opened its doors.
It is about 5km down the Kruisfontein Road.

We will be grading the road from the golf course to the y junction. It is
approximately 7km's from the golf course. The roads have dried and are
vehicle friendly again.

We are experiencing lovely rains on the farm. We have had over 800 mm for
the season already and it has rained for 93 days this season.
Our latest game count figures are:
Eland: 3 calves last year and a total population of 13.
Zebra: 4 foals last year and a total population of 23.
Wildebeest: 15 calves last year and a total population of 66.
Blesbuck: 30 lambs last year and a total population of 140 (there might be
more lambs, we have seen a pack of four black backed jackals on the farm, I
think they have caught up to 6 lambs).
Springbuck: 3 lambs last year and a total population of 13, (all 3 lambs
were caught by jackals)
And of course 1 ostrich.
The reedbuck and mountain reedbuck populations are doing well, we cant
accurately count them as they are constantly migrating between farms but
they are becoming more visible and more "tamer".
We have also have had numerous sightings of steenbok, this is encouraging as
we have not seen them on the farm in the past.

We are experiencing lovely rains on the farm. We have had over 800 mm for

The Kruisfontein road to the golf course is riddled with potholes, this
suggests that there is only one solution for the road and that is to tar it.
The road from the golf course to the main entrance is currently un-drivable.
We would need a couple of dry days before the road is drivable.
The back kruisfontein road is un-drivable, you will make it down the hill but
not up. If anybody wants to come onto the farm please

The 2008 AGM for DULLSTROOM COUNTRY ESTATE will be held on the 28 February
2008 at 18:00 at BANK FORUM OFFICE PARK on the CORNER OF VEAL AND BRONKHORST
STREETS PRETORIA.
From Brooklyn Circle take a southerly exit towards Waterkloof and turn
right at the first robot. Take an immediate left into the BANK FORUM OFFICE
PARK.

All material has been delivered to start with the building of the swimming
pool! Hole has been dug and we are waiting for a week without rain before we
cast the floor!

The first of the 27 benches we ordered have arrived on the estate and have
been placed next to various dams.
Two braais have been built at CROW and HERON dam’s respectively!

We have completed the signage on the roads into the estate clearly
indicating where stands are! All the houses build has nr’s like the one’s
shown!
